Python Software Engineer

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required. Telework: None.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience as a software engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree)

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM’s software suite of applications including DINO. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Skills

Required Experience

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash
• Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Familiar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
• Experience using Git Source Control System

Desired Experience

• Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence

Pay

$230,000 - $240,000 annually
