Telework: None Basic Requirements 7 years of experience as a software engineerBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree Job Description The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM’s software suite of applications including DINO. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries. Required Experience Experience using the Linux CLI and ToolsExperience developing scripts using BashRecent Python (3.x) software development experienceExperience with NoSQL databases including MongoDBExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerdExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CIFamiliar with container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesFamiliar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on KubernetesFamiliar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQFamiliar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as AnsibleExperience using Git Source Control System Desired Experience Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQLExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence Salary: $230,000 - $240,000 annually Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.
