Python Fullstack Engineer

Location: Frisco, TX / Bellevue, WA / Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack Python applications using Python 3.11+ with advanced type hints, static typing, and async programming (asyncio, async/await, async generators).
• Design and implement REST APIs with FastAPI, including routing, dependency injection, middleware, streaming responses (SSE), and async-first backend architecture.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Prefect 2.x/3.x (flows, tasks, deployments, work pools, scheduling) with incremental loads, idempotency, and schema evolution.
• Manage data engineering tasks with Snowflake (connector-python, OAuth authentication, warehouse/schema management, query optimization) and PostgreSQL 16/17 (psycopg 3.x, async support, SQLAlchemy 2.x, Alembic migrations).
• Implement complex data transformations using Pandas 2.x, PyArrow, and columnar formats.
• Handle document ingestion and parsing with libraries like Docling, Unstructured, python-docx, and python-pptx.
• Develop graph algorithms and pattern processing logic (e.g., connected components, transitive closure, alarm correlation) using NetworkX.
• Engineer regex patterns for IPv4/IPv6, network interface extraction, CI/entity extraction, and entity classification.
• Integrate Azure Blob Storage (azure-storage-blob) for data storage and retrieval.
• Build and optimize React 18/19 frontend UIs with TypeScript, MSAL browser authentication, JWT handling, streaming fetch, and real-time updates.
• Ensure code quality through testing (pytest, unittest.mock) and static analysis (Ruff, SAST integration).

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Python and backend development, including .NET, Alembic, Azure Blob Storage, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT data core language and architecture.
• Proficiency in:
  • Python 3.11+ (advanced type hints, async programming, Pydantic v2, structured logging).
  • REST API design (retry/backoff strategies, concurrency patterns).
  • Redis (pub/sub, TTL, async clients).
  • Data engineering and ETL tools (Prefect, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Pandas, PyArrow).
  • Graph algorithms (NetworkX) and regex engineering for network operations.
  • FastAPI stack (routing, dependency injection, middleware, streaming responses).
  • Frontend development with React 18/19 (TypeScript, MSAL, JWT, real-time UI updates).
  • Testing frameworks (pytest, unittest.mock) and code quality tools (Ruff, pre-commit hooks).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Ray for distributed execution.
• Columnar performance tuning.
• Network operations domain knowledge or NOC/alarm correlation familiarity.
