Python Engineer - Remote

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to lead the development of our advanced code translation platform. In this role, you will architect and implement agentic AI pipelines that leverage state machines, message queues, and distributed processing architectures. Your primary focus will be on designing language-agnostic translation patterns and building scalable, multi-language code analysis and retrieval tools. You will collaborate closely with domain specialists to integrate formal verification and static analysis methods into our code generation pipelines, ensuring robustness and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in enterprise-level software development using Python
• Proven ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective software designs
• Experience planning and executing large-scale projects within a team environment
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including code review, testing, CI/CD, release management, and build systems
• Familiarity with Machine Learning tools and frameworks
• Expertise in building scalable APIs such as REST, GraphQL, and gRPC
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Arcitect and implement agentic AI pipelines utilizing state machines, message queues, and distributed processing techniques
• Design language-agnostic translation patterns to facilitate multi-language code conversion
• Build and deploy scalable multi-language code analysis and retrieval tools
• Collaborate with domain experts to integrate formal verification and static analysis into the code generation process
• Develop extensible and well-tested software foundations for code translation products
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
• Contribute to the planning and execution of large, collaborative projects
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies such as agentic AI frameworks and cloud-based distributed systems
