About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Python Engineer to join our dynamic DevSecOps team. In this role, you will be actively involved in developing and maintaining scripts that integrate security gates such as SAST, DAST, and SCA into our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Your expertise will help optimize security scanning tools by reducing false positives and enhancing alert accuracy. You will deploy automated, hardened security baselines and provide detailed, code-level remediation guidance to development teams. This position requires a proactive individual capable of working independently on complex scripting and integration tasks.
Qualifications
- Authorization to work for any employer in the US (e.g., Green Card, TN visa, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD)
- 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting tasks
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD orchestration tools
- Familiarity with vulnerability scoring frameworks and security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA)
- Ability to operate independently on complex scripting and integration projects
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scripts to seamlessly integrate security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines
- Continuously tune and configure existing security scanning tools to minimize false positives and improve alert confidence
- Affiliate in coding and deploying automated hardened security baselines and secure coding patterns
- Collaborate directly with product development teams to provide actionable, code-level remediation guidance in Java and Python
- Operate with minimal supervision to ensure timely completion of complex scripting and integration tasks
