Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Develop scalable backend systems using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
- Implement unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with asynchronous programming using AsyncIO or Celery.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Understanding of software security best practices and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or Python are a plus.
