About the organization

The COO Enterprise Solution Engineering capability is responsible for developing best-in-class technology platforms for Operations. This includes creating an integrated portfolio of Operations tools, end-to-end solution design for large-scale transformation initiatives, design governance, and adopting Generative AI solutions to drive operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to the engineering and delivery of end-to-end solutions.
• Adopt a product-focused approach to develop robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

• Engage in pair programming, promote lean methodologies, and streamline processes by removing unnecessary bureaucracy.

• Develop foundational components and mature technology capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption and successful integration of Generative AI solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in engineering and executing enterprise solutions that scale effectively.
• 5+ years of experience and fluency in at least two programming languages, with a strong preference for Python and Java. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Golang is also highly valued.
• 3+ years of professional experience in financial services, technology firms, or dynamic start-up environments.
• 3+ years of experience and good understanding of Language Models (LLMs), transformers, agentic frameworks, vector stores, and search algorithms.
• 3+ years of experience with relevant frameworks such as Spring (AI, Boot, Core, etc.), Flask, LangChain, LangGraph, and MLFlow.
• 3+ years of experience and proficiency in database technologies, such as Oracle, Postgres, or MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging and integration platforms like Kafka or JMS/MQ.
• UI development skills with technologies such as React JS or Streamlit.
• Experience designing and implementing REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Familiarity with one of the major cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
• Experience with build and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins and Gradle.
• Strong engineering experience with high-performance, large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as CoPilot or Devin.
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile delivery, product management, and value stream methodologies.
• Proven track record in producing high-quality project artifacts.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable systems.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills and navigate complex organizational structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Pay

Full-time salary range: $142,320.00 - $213,480.00. In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may include discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards for eligible employees.
