About the role

The Python Developer- Quant Core Data is responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative data analysis tools and models. This position requires expertise in Python programming, statistical analysis, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quantitative data analysis tools and models using Python and related libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform statistical analysis and implement machine learning algorithms to derive insights from large datasets.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development and/or quantitative analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
