About the role
The Python Developer- Quant Core Data is responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative data analysis tools and models. This position requires expertise in Python programming, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quantitative data analysis tools and models using Python and related libraries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and implement machine learning algorithms to derive insights from large datasets.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing systems and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development and/or quantitative analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.

$100,000 - $120,000 annually based on experience.
Schedule
