Python Developer - Front Office - Equity Derivatives

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week). Visa sponsorship is not available.

About the role

The Python Developer will join our Equity Derivatives Trading Desk team, maintaining and enhancing Trade Support Platforms with a focus on reliability, performance, and business-driven functionality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and support EQD tools used daily by traders, structurers, and risk managers
• Contribute to the development of a transversal data platform that accelerates the creation of new applications across the firm
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for builds, containerization, and deployment
• Develop and enhance full-stack features with a focus on delivering business-driven functionality
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions while deepening finance knowledge

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in OOP Development
• 2+ years of backend Python software development
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of the equity derivatives business or strong willingness to learn
• Adaptable, proactive mindset with a growth mentality

Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML applications in analytics is a bonus.
