About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Python Developer to join our dynamic Product Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building a next-generation AI-powered financial assistant platform that revolutionizes investment workflows. You will work closely with business users and a team of skilled engineers to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions. Your expertise will help shape the architecture of the platform, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a remote position, it provides flexibility while contributing to impactful projects that influence the future of financial technology.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Python or a strong programming background with a willingness to learn Python
• Experience with FastAPI or other Python frameworks is strongly desired
• Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Excellent system design and architectural skills
• High standards for code quality and reliability
• Experience with frontend technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, NextJS, or Node is a significant plus
• Fluent English communication skills at a C1 level or higher
• Strong problem-solving abilities and high autonomy in work execution

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, reliable software components for an AI-powered financial platform
• Gather requirements, consider edge cases, and independently create system designs
• Collaborate with a small, skilled engineering team to develop innovative solutions
• Participate in rapid iteration cycles with direct feedback from sophisticated end-users
• Contribute to architectural decisions that influence the product's strategic direction
• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the platform through best practices
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement
