About the role

The Infosys Financial Services unit is a global leader in driving digital transformation for financial institutions, leveraging AI, cloud, and data‑led innovation. As a Technology Consultant 2 you will work on cutting‑edge AI technologies, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute to transformative projects across banking, wealth management, and insurance sectors.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions to guide the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, focusing on system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, modify the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure smooth transitions to new software applications.
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base for similar projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands‑on expertise in Python.
• Extensive experience with the AWS cloud platform.
• Experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
• Understanding of REST APIs, system design, and scalable architectures.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• AWS certifications.
• Experience in FinTech, healthcare, or logistics industries.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures (SNS, SQS, Kafka).
• Knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience with Java development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Candidates may also be considered with three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education. This position may require relocation and/or travel to the work/project location. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
