Responsibilities
- Lead new business pursuits, manage cost risks, customer satisfaction, and set long-term strategies.
- Build relationships with customers who may not currently exist, and hunt for business opportunities in new technology offerings.
- Meet aggressive financial targets and support P&L improvement of the account.
- Develop and implement 5-year account strategy, gain management agreement, and support team objectives.
- Drive customer satisfaction through quality, delivery, technology deployment, and pricing strategy.
- Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-year strategic plan (STRAP).
- Communicate with functional leaders and other business teams to secure their support in meeting objectives, standardize processes, and share best practices.
- Report on team activities and action plans monthly, and address key issues weekly.
- Implement robust management processes, tools, and resources to remove performance barriers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- Over 3 years of automotive experience.
- Proven negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and ability to operate within a matrix organization.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Successful track record in customer negotiations and strategy development.
- Proven ability to successfully work within a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to maintain excellent customer relations.
