Pursuit Lead III, Google Cloud
About the role
The Google Cloud Consulting (GCC) team is evolving to meet the demands of enterprise AI transformation. As a Pursuit Lead (PL), you will act as the strategic growth engine and primary services connection point for Google Cloud's most complex, large-scale customer transformations. Partnering closely with Sales leadership, this role defines the holistic services and transformation strategy for an assigned customer portfolio, driving repeatable, end-to-end success.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and articulate the comprehensive services and transformation strategy for a specific customer portfolio, partnering directly with the corresponding Sales leadership.
- Architect the end-to-end customer services journey, managing the entire services life-cycle from qualification through contracting and creating proposals; leveraging a value services approach to accelerate large-scale cloud adoption.
- Translate complex customer business goals into a defined services roadmap, scope the required professional services work, and orchestrate the engagement of the right delivery resources (Professional Services Organization and Partners).
- Cultivate and maintain strong executive relationships across the customer portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader on Google Cloud's service offerings and transformation capabilities.
- Drive the successful execution and governance of signed Professional Services engagements to ensure timely project delivery, consumption acceleration, and achievement of expected business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles within the cloud or enterprise technology domain.
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, services, and adoption frameworks.
- Experience with executive-level customer relationships (e.g., acting as a strategy advisor or portfolio leader).
- Experience managing agreement pursuit and service agreement life-cycles (e.g., agreement qualification, agreement scoping, proposal development, agreement negotiation).
Preferred qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience developing holistic services strategies and repeatable solutions across a customer portfolio.
- Experience collaborating across large, complex internal organizations (Sales, Professional Services Organization (PSO), Partners) with the ability to provide thought leadership, business, and industry acumen.
- Ability to drive business outcomes and consumption acceleration through governance and execution oversight of signed engagements.
Benefits
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

In this role, you will be expected to be on the customer site approximately 40% of the time.
