Purchasing Team Lead

About the Role

DeBra-Kuempel is seeking a Supervisor – Purchasing Team Lead for our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This supervisory position is responsible for supporting, coaching, developing, and motivating the Purchasing Team. The role serves as the first point of contact for the team and requires excellent communication skills and proactive leadership to ensure smooth team operations. The ideal candidate will lead by example and engage the team to achieve departmental and individual goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
• Oversee day-to-day department operations.
• Monitor team performance with the Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Admin.
• Motivate team members to perform at their best.
• Discover training needs and provide coaching.
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Suggest and organize team-building activities.

• Good PC skills, especially in MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
