Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 (100% onsite) – 6-month contract with possible extension.
About the role
We are hiring a Purchasing Specialist I for a leading pharmaceutical company. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in purchasing, inventory management, MRO, warehouse operations, procurement support, or data entry.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders (POs)
- Perform high-volume, accurate data entry
- Track and expedite purchase orders
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Support inventory management and analysis
- Work with vendors and internal departments
- Maintain purchasing records
- Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, MRO, or Data Entry
- Experience with purchase order processing
- Inventory management
- Invoice resolution
- Microsoft Excel
