Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Procure goods and services required to support manufacturing operations.
  • Manage supplier relationships and purchasing transactions.
  • Source and evaluate products based on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align materials with production schedules.
  • Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with suppliers and resolve order issues.
  • Track shipments and assist with invoice resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of purchasing or materials management experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • ERP system experience (Microsoft AX preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines.
