Purchasing Specialist

About the role

This is a 1-year contract (W-2) assignment located in Juno Beach, FL 33408. You will manage existing purchase orders, support special projects, and report to the onsite Manager.

Responsibilities

• Create and promptly manage purchase orders (POs).
• Update, confirm, and resolve issues with existing POs.
• Support special projects, including:
  • Identifying and resolving past due purchase orders.
  • Data cleanup and validation activities.
  • Preparing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for transition to GEP.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers to ensure smooth purchasing workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and standardization efforts across the supply chain function.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems.

Helpful Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $25.00/hr. to $30.00/hr., dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
