Purchasing Senior Specialist

The Purchasing Specialist (EX2) supports Honda’s mission by managing activities that impact customer satisfaction, compliance, profitability, and resource circularity.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support recycling initiatives, battery programs, and core management.
• Perform forecasting and ordering for batteries and cores.
• Manage third‑party relationships and interactions.
• Conduct document and SOP audits, including LET database support.
• Track and analyze KPI data.
• Assist with projects related to resource circularity and other strategic objectives.
• Provide battery support and oversee core inventory management.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and forecasting (automotive parts preferred).
• Strong negotiation, planning, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
