Responsibilities

• Purchase, receive, secure, and inventory all house supplies.
• Check in deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
• Secure all liquor, wine, and consumables, ensuring proper storage and rotation for freshness.
• Follow the approval process for goods ordered as necessary.
• Input invoices and liquor transfers as required.
• Conduct inventory of liquor and other controlled items.
• Maintain and organize all storerooms throughout the venue.
• Uphold standards for product freshness, storage, and rotation of perishable goods.
• Fulfill band riders as directed, including procuring goods from local retail stores.
• Manage service pickup/delivery of linen and recyclables.
• Use a scale to weigh products and check incoming items for quality.
• Log and document credits on the Tracking List.
• Label seafood items in drain pans and cover them in ice.
• Contact service agencies as required and adhere to company product specifications.
• Follow the purchase order system.
• Maintain clean and organized back dock/receiving areas.
• Employ and oversee proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous purchasing/receiving experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs waist high and with the aid of a hand truck.
• High School diploma (College degree preferred).

Physical Demands

• Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and moving of heavy objects.
