Responsibilities
- Tracking of all purchase and sales orders from creation to delivery.
- Interface with customers and sales representatives to handle both pre-sales/purchases and post-sales/purchases service functions.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
- Actively work on market data/pricing for EirTrade owned and consigned stock – reporting adjustments needed to Manager for review.
- Respond to all incoming enquiries, referrals and leads in a timely, professional, and effective manner.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic solutions.
- Make outbound calls, developing vendor relationships.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on existing orders to obtain feedback and expedite delivery.
- Process orders, expediting where possible, and keep both Manager and customers updated on status.
- Work with internal departments to ensure orders delivered to EirTrade stock and customers on time and in line with EirTrade QA Standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years Aviation Sales/Purchasing experience required.
- Experience using Salesforce/Avsight is an advantage.
- MS Office skills with intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties.
- Capacity to apply common sense and pragmatism as required.
- Ability to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives.
- Organised, dependable, and with an ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of the wider team, to achieve personal and company targets and KPI’s.
- Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Required periodically for attendance at aviation events and client visits.
Skills
Strong work ethic, work well under pressure and possess a determination to exceed goals.
