Purchasing Director

About the role

The Purchasing Director will oversee purchasing, inventory, equipment, and vendor management operations across multiple service divisions at Mid America Health. They will ensure uninterrupted clinical operations by managing procurement, budgets, inventory, equipment lifecycle, vendor relationships, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, budgets, inventory, equipment lifecycle, vendor relationships, and logistics to maintain uninterrupted clinical operations.
• Partner with leadership, clinical teams, field staff, finance, and vendors to improve operational efficiency, control costs, and support the successful launch and maintenance of mobile and fixed dental clinics.
• Ensure the provision of equipment, supplies, vendor support, and logistical coordination necessary for uninterrupted, high-quality dental care across all service locations.
• Take initiative, work independently, utilize outstanding problem-solving skills, and adapt quickly to change while balancing priorities.
• Show exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, purchasing systems, and project management software (experience with Monday.com preferred).
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Pay

$65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.

Schedule

This is an onsite position scheduled Monday through Friday.
