Purchasing Buyer

Description

Responsible for identifying and procuring goods and services that the organization requires to keep the production lines running. Ensure optimal inventory levels.

• Working with stakeholders and peers (Sourcing, Quality, Material Coordinators, Planning, Transportation, Engineers, Finance) to ensure requests are fulfilled.
• Maintain supplier relationships and improve supplier performance (service, on-time delivery, quality, reconciliation of invoices, POs and documentation).

• Experience working with and communicating effectively with Suppliers and Stakeholders
• Have a sense of urgency and take initiative
• Analytical
• Excellent communication skills (presentation, interpersonal, written)
• SAP experience
• MS Office
