Responsibilities
- Works with internal customers to plan, source, and manage floor stock and consumable materials.
- Purchase of office supplies, accessories, spare parts used in a PCBA manufacturing environment and MRO materials.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Monitor delivery performance and quality performance of vendors.
- Set inventory levels of frequently used items and maintain stock to support all manufacturing activities.
- Process purchase orders, packing slips, invoice, and other pertinent documentation.
- Escalate issues related to delivery, quality, out-of-stock, etc..
- Identify continuous improvement strategies.
- Maintain processes and reporting for responsible items.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with all transactions, both financially and systematically.
- Detail oriented. Including records and communication retention, process documentation, et al.
- Able to work in a mixed office/manufacturing environment, including continuous standing, sitting, typing, lifting, etc..
- Able to work as business needs require which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and occasional travel for business meetings or training.
