Purchasing Associate (Data Entry)
Essential Functions
Provide excellent customer service to the sales team by acting as the intermediary between sales, purchasing, and our suppliers.
Manage purchase order confirmations and monitor open orders to ensure accuracy, timely processing, and proactive follow-up on delayed shipments.
Support expediting efforts by working with vendors to improve on-time delivery and resolve supply chain issues.
Process and track vendor authorizations, MRA, and NCMR activities to ensure timely resolution of material and quality concerns.
Reduce purchasing backlog by prioritizing outstanding transactions and maintaining efficient order flow.
Cook up communication between vendors, Purchasing, Warehouse, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
Respond to internal and external inquiries while maintaining accurate purchasing records and supporting continuous process improvements.
Required Education And Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience in customer service and/or administrative or purchasing support preferred.
