Purchasing and Logistic Agent

Duties and Responsibilities

• Research potential vendors
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Interact with suppliers on a day-to-day basis
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Process orders and enter order details into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Cook with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• Schedule deliveries for supplies, materials, equipment and services
• Process invoices
• Shipping Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low
• Execute logistics plan to move products to reach destinations on schedule according to production schedule
• Booking, documentation, costing, billing, filing, coordination, quoting, tracking and customer service
• Arrange cargo transportation with all applicable parties
• Cook with customers, overseas agents and vendors

Pay

$18 on up per hour, DOE

Schedule

Front Office hours: 7am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and 7am - 11am Friday.
