Duties/Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and source reliable suppliers for materials and components required for production. Negotiate competitive pricing, delivery terms, and lead times to meet operational and customer demands.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the planning team to ensure inventory levels are maintained for optimal stock levels while enforcing a strong inventory turnover rate. Ensure that all components are available when needed for production without overstocking.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the procurement process. Identify opportunities to streamline sourcing, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while continuously searching for new suppliers to enhance the strength and reliability of the supply chain. Evaluate suppliers based on performance, cost, quality, and delivery.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, material availability, and supplier changes to proactively address any potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Logistics: Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components while optimizing shipping costs and managing logistics documentation.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
- A highly driven individual with a strong problem-solving mindset, able to take initiative, demonstrate integrity and confidence, and work towards achieving challenging objectives.
- High level of initiative, organization, accuracy, and judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships with a spectrum of team members.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience using Epicor ERP is recommended but not required.
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider equivalent work experience.
