About the role

As our Corporate Buyer, you will manage ocean, air, and customs brokerage activities, sourcing, buying, and tracking raw materials and finished products. You will work closely with Sales to manage inventory and address supply chain-related issues to ensure sales orders are fulfilled on time and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide systematic lines of communication with suppliers.
• Create, run, and review reports, making recommendations to management based on report data.
• Manage supply chain-related issues to ensure sales orders are fulfilled on time and cost-effectively.
• Develop the team's ability to forecast and plan purchases and inventory levels using data.
• Collaborate with distribution centers regarding the flow of containers and available space.
• Encourage effective relationships with suppliers to accomplish company goals while maintaining product quality and high levels of customer service.
• Work to accomplish responsibilities and goals while maintaining the company's positive culture and effective work environment.
• Recognize accomplishments, contributions, and effort, while motivating your team to accomplish goals.
