Responsibilities

• Own the purchasing process from start to finish—making sure our jobs have what they need, when they need it.
• Source and secure materials and equipment for active construction projects.
• Create and manage vendor relationships—negotiating pricing, timelines, and terms.
• Build and manage vendor relationships—negotiating pricing, timelines, and terms.
• Create and manage purchase orders with accuracy and urgency.
• Track inventory and stay ahead of material needs.
• Cook up and manage vendor relationships—negotiating pricing, timelines, and terms.
• Coordinate deliveries to job sites and keep projects moving.
• Keep documentation tight—shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Partner closely with project teams to align on schedules and priorities.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly—whether it’s a delay, shortage, or vendor concern.

Requirements

• 10+ years of purchasing experience, ideally in construction or a related field.
• Experience working in an ERP system (COINS strongly preferred).
• Strong instincts for organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities without losing momentum.
• Confidence working with vendors and negotiating effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory and material tracking processes.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to read construction drawings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills; Spanish is a plus.

• Salary range is $68,000 to $92,000 (based on education and experience) with generous bonus!
