What You'll Do
- Manage transactional purchasing activities to support commodity requirements
- Maintain procurement costs, supplier pricing, and delivery schedules
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Resolve supplier performance issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Support sourcing initiatives and continuous process improvements
- Advise internal teams on procurement best practices
- Assist with forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/business systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
- Institute for Supply Management (ISM) certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Project management experience
- Experience working with inventory forecasting, supplier management, or logistics
