About the role

This is a remote, contract position for up to 6 months with a commitment of 20 hours per week. Compensation is $15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across diverse genres.
• Rate music against quality standards.
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs and identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Assess naturalness of lyrics, focusing on word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
• Work independently and asynchronously while maintaining flexible hours.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist.
• Knowledge of the Punjabi music scene.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Credited or published songwriting work.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Punjabi genres, sub-genres, and artists.
