Pump Truck Driver Non-CDL

Responsibilities

• Operates truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
• Provides services to customers’ portable restroom unit on assigned route(s) by pumping, washing, and restocking units
• Provides minor repairs to units on route and at facility
• Delivers and removes portable restroom units to/from customers
• Cleans and prepares portable restroom units for delivery, as needed
• Maintains and updates drivers route sheets and/or work orders
• Professionally interacts with internal and external customers to provide excellent customer service
• Conducts pre-trip/post trip inspections and completes DVIR logs
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in the Waste Industry preferred
• General working knowledge of mechanics of trucks
• Frequent lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.
• Working outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions, dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter
• Frequent walking, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, climbing, and balancing
• Sitting/standing/walking continuously

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills
• Ability to read and understand a map
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers

Qualifications

• At least 19 years of age
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
• No DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
• Valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to read and speak the English language
