Pump Technician, First Shift
Responsibilities
- Pump and parts order assembly
- Pump disassembly and repair
- Pump hydrostatic and performance testing
- Receiving and stocking inventory
- Prepping and painting of pump and parts orders
- Packaging and shipment of pump and parts orders
- Adhere to company safety practices and processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanical assembly operator or test technician
- Experience with assembling and disassembling pumps or other rotating/mechanical equipment, including tearing them down according to standard procedure
- Fork-Lift/Crane experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills and enjoys a variety of work / multi-tasking
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting

Pay
The estimated pay range for this position is $24/hr. to $38/hr.. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
Schedule
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM- 2:30 PM CST

About the Role
Xylem is hiring a Pump Technician to assemble, disassemble, hydrostatic test, and perform performance tests on pumps.
