About the Role
The technician handles the mechanical and electrical components of residential well systems, traveling to homes to fix low water pressure, failed pumps, and electrical control issues.
Responsibilities
- Installation: Set up residential submersible and jet pumps, pressure tanks, and filtration equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose no-water emergencies, low pressure, and electrical control failures.
- Repair: Replace pressure switches, control boxes, worn pumps, and damaged drop pipes.
- Testing: Check water flow rates, inspect electrical draw, and collect water samples for safety.
- Customer Service: Explain system issues and repair options clearly to homeowners.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in well drilling, residential plumbing, or pump service.
- Proficiency with multimeters, pipe threaders, and hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Capability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
