PUMP MECHANIC

Full‑time Pump Mechanic position located in Aston, PA.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, complex assemblies, and sub‑assemblies.
• Measure and record sizes and clearances to within .001 inch.
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the assembly and inspection process of the parts used in the assembly of a pump.
• Read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Use, read, and comprehend micrometers, calipers, gauges, and inspection tooling.
• Perform work to established standards.
• Understand tooling used to assemble pumps.
• Fully understand the function of the individual components that comprise the pumps.
• Complete provided documentation for each completed job.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug testing process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman mechanic status or completion of a mechanic apprenticeship (a plus).
• Five years or more in a similar role requiring teardown and assembly of mechanical parts.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using an overhead crane in an industrial environment.
• Works well with others.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Initiative to get the job done correctly.
• Valid work status and authorization.

Pay

Salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience: $23–$28 per hour.
