About the role

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine within the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Academic Division in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the next Division Director.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient care and training future healthcare leaders
• Elevate research efforts to achieve national recognition
• Foster collaborative initiatives and build trust among colleagues and partners
• Grow the research enterprise

Requirements

• Proven track record in delivering excellent patient care and training future healthcare leaders
• Nationally recognized academic leadership in clinical care, research, clinical education, and mentorship
• Strong leadership qualities, including a growth mindset and advocacy for the division and its faculty, trainees, and staff
• History of recruiting and retaining talent, and involvement in academic and professional organizations
• MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree, board-certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine, and eligible for medical licensure in Missouri

• Outstanding leadership skills and administrative experience in an academic medical center setting
• Strong dedication to clinical care, education, service, and research
