Pulmonology Physician

We are a large physician‑owned group expanding in the Hartford, CT area. As part of our Respiratory Program, we are seeking a pulmonologist to join our team to provide consults, oversee NPs, and participate in profit‑sharing opportunities. The position offers generous compensation, flexible scheduling, and no on‑call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide biweekly pulmonary consults to skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Oversee and support nurse practitioners delivering consults.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
• Board eligible or board certified in Pulmonology.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum 1 year of pulmonology experience.
• Experience working with respiratory patients in an acute or post‑acute setting.
• Experience managing adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and time‑management skills.

Scheduling Options

• Full‑time: 30–40 hours per week.
• Part‑time: 10–20 hours per week.
• Monday‑Friday schedule; no weekends.

Physical Requirements
