About the role

The Pulmonary Diagnostics - Resp Therapist III position is responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients in the Pulmonary Diagnostic Unit.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other modalities as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient’s respiratory status and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatment procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Ohio.
• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with advanced life support certifications (e.g., ACLS).
• Knowledge of pulmonary diagnostics and treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in computer systems used for documentation and scheduling.
