About the role

Intermountain Health is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join a team of experienced Pulmonary and Critical Care Physicians at Utah Valley Hospital, a 395-bed level II Trauma center and Certified Stroke Center.

Responsibilities

• Practicing at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah; with option to do pulmonary clinic hours at American Fork Hospital in American Fork, Utah
• Mix of pulmonary clinic, pulmonary consults, procedures, and ICU shifts
• 36-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU, caring for general surgery, trauma (Level II ASC Trauma Hospital Accreditation), cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and medical patients
• 24/7 in-house ICU coverage, with a mix of day, and night shifts
• Teaching opportunities throughout the year with family medicine residents, medical students, and APPs
• New Ion robot and EBUS capable

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

• Competitive Compensation: $491,750.00 annual salary
