Publications Technical Senior Editor

Role Overview: The Senior Technical Editor supports the development and review of technical publications such as owner's manuals, service manuals, and internal documents for Honda Power Sports & Products Division. Responsibilities: Produce and manage technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in line with style guides and standards.Collaborate with engineers, SMEs, and reviewers to verify technical content and resolve issues.Mentor junior staff, lead editorial initiatives, and improve documentation processes.Oversee document control, versioning, and publication workflows.Manage outside vendors and publication revisions, supporting project budgets.Develop associates through performance planning. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.At least 5 years editing technical documentation, including in Powersports or Power Equipment industries.Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker, Creative Cloud tools, and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.Strong communication, multi-tasking, and stakeholder management skills.
