Agyaq Technologies LLC supports the Logistics Engineering department by developing, reviewing, and refining technical content for publications such as instruction manuals, procedural guides, illustrations, and other documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical content for publications including installation manuals, maintenance manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of publication changes and source documentation; provide metrics to management.
- Review and provide feedback on technical publications and source materials in accordance with current standards.
- Edit existing source files into technical illustrations for use in publications.
- Conduct training for junior personnel in publications development and document training activities.
- Apply working knowledge of regulations, policies, and processes relevant to assigned duties.
- Communicate needs and requirements to senior developers and supervisors.
- Participate in meetings or conferences to provide input or address comments and concerns.
- Prepare visual aids such as charts, graphs, and forms to accompany technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, Extensible Markup Language (XML) software, publishing systems, and Technical Illustration software.
- Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-63002, MIL-PRF-63029, MIL-STD-40051, MIL-HDBK-1222, and MIL-STD-2361 standards.
- Experience using digital software such as Technical Illustrator, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Designer, IsoDraw, and SolidWorks.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and CAD files (mechanical and electrical).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years of aviation maintenance experience on rotary and/or fixed-wing platforms.
- Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) development.
- Knowledge of XML software such as Arbor Text, Ultra-Edit, or Adobe FrameMaker.
Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants, spouses of Calista shareholders, and shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act.
