About the role
Due to continued growth and increasing demand from both new and existing clients, we are looking for an experienced publications professional to join our Medical Communications team as a Publication Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of publication and medical communications projects from planning through to completion.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients, manage project teams, oversee timelines and quality, and ensure deliverables are completed to an exceptional standard.
- Contribute to scientific writing, review colleagues' work, provide mentorship and feedback, and support business development activities, including proposal writing, pitching for new work, and identifying opportunities to expand our client relationships.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in publications at a medical writing agency, including leading a publications account.
- A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum GPA 3.3).
- Strong scientific writing and data presentation skills, including the ability to use Excel, PowerPoint and Word effectively and efficiently, to produce a professional, high standard of work.
- A proven ability to build as well as manage robust and sustainable client relationships.
- Project management skills sufficient to enable timely project delivery that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Ability and desire to keep abreast of key industry trends with the potential to inform team or company strategy.

- $110,000 to $120,000 per annum, depending on your previous experience, as well as a discretionary profit share bonus paid twice per year.
