Public Works Project Manager - Las Vegas

Civil Science is looking for a driven and passionate Public Works Project Manager to help shape the future of our Las Vegas public works practice. We’re seeking a licensed engineer who thrives in a client-facing leadership role—someone who takes pride in owning project delivery, leading high-performing teams, and driving projects from concept through completion. You’ll step into a strong backlog of work with immediate opportunities to make an impact and help expand our presence across the region.

Responsibilities
- Serve as primary client contact for public works projects in the Las Vegas area
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple active municipal projects
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Deliver high-quality infrastructure projects for city, county, and state agencies
- Support business development efforts, including pursuits and client relationship growth
- Collaborate with leadership to expand backlog and market presence
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
- Ensure projects meet quality, risk, and compliance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
- 8+ years of experience in public works / infrastructure projects
- Experience with municipal or DOT clients (strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Civil 3D
- Experience in transportation and public works infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check and driving record review
