About the role
The Ideal candidate is currently working in industry and looking to get back into public accounting. Must meet work experience and education/certification requirements noted below.
Responsibilities
- Review and oversee preparation of Individual (1040), Fiduciary (1041), Not-for-Profit (990), C-Corp, S-Corp, and Partnership/LLC returns
- Manage staff on engagement deliverables including tax returns, financial statements, and workpapers
- Perform final technical and strategic reviews
- Develop and manage engagement budgets
- Maintain billing responsibility and manage realization
- Serve as a proactive advisor to clients and identify planning opportunities
- Participate in new client development and proposal discussions
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff
- Support leadership initiatives and practice development efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 6 years of public accounting or related experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Active CPA required (EA acceptable)
- Prior Tax Manager or Tax Supervisory experience required
- Strong technical expertise across multiple entity types
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000
