Public Space Attendant/Custodian - PM Shift

About the role

Join our team as a Public Space Attendant and play an important role in creating the exceptional guest experience Brasstown Valley is known for. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy and being on their feet rather than sitting behind a desk.

Responsibilities

• Keep our lobby, conference center, entrances, and public areas clean and welcoming
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and shampoo carpets
• Clean windows, glass doors, furniture, and fixtures
• Keep resort entrances neat and free of debris
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and locker rooms
• Empty trash and keep supplies stocked
• Quickly report maintenance concerns to management
• Handle Lost & Found items with care and professionalism
• Support our Room Attendants and housekeeping team when needed
• Give extra attention to details—checking under furniture, cushions, and hard-to-see areas to ensure nothing is overlooked

Requirements

• Dependable and takes pride in their work

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Comfortable lifting up to 20 pounds regularly
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and perform cleaning tasks throughout your shift

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Fridays & Saturdays until 11:00 PM)
