Public Space Attendant
What You'll Do
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, fitness center, pool area, elevators, stairwells, hallways, and employee areas.
- Sweep, vacuum, dust, mop, polish, and empty trash throughout assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, countertops, and floors.
- Restock restroom, pool, and public area supplies to ensure they are always guest-ready.
- Respond promptly to guest and team member requests with a positive, service-focused attitude.
- Inspect public areas regularly and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards immediately.
- Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organized, clean, and in good working condition.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and support other housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities and perform additional duties assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional hospitality.
- Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

Safety: Follows all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures. Reports unsafe conditions, maintenance concerns, or security issues immediately. Uses cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Regularly push or pull housekeeping carts and equipment.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Work indoors and outdoors, including the pool area, in varying temperatures.
