Public Safety Telecommunicator

Responsibilities

• Answering emergency and non-emergency telephone calls and radio traffic
• Processing messages via radio, telephone, and computer aided dispatch (CAD)
• Dispatching appropriate Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement units to emergency and non-emergency situations
• Maintaining contact with responders and ensuring proper documentation of incidents
