Key Responsibilities

Territory and Account Development

  • Develop and execute a business plan for an assigned territory, customer segment, or strategic market.
  • Identify prospective customers and generate opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, conferences, partners, procurement portals, contract vehicles, and industry relationships.
  • Build relationships with chiefs, sheriffs, command staff, prosecutors, public defenders, investigators, evidence managers, records personnel, CIOs, CISOs, procurement officials, and agency executives.
  • Create a qualified pipeline sufficient to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand each agency's operational, investigative, legal, security, and technology requirements.

  • Translate customer requirements into appropriate business and technical solutions.

  • Represent VIDIZMO at public-safety conferences, association meetings, customer events, and industry forums.
  • Monitor competitors, purchasing trends, grants, legislation, customer priorities, and public-safety technology developments.
  • Work with marketing to develop campaigns, webinars, account-based outreach, customer stories, and market-specific content.
  • Provide structured feedback concerning customer requirements, competitive gaps, pricing, partnerships, and product direction.

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of successful experience in enterprise software, SaaS, government technology, or public-safety technology sales.
  • Demonstrated experience selling to law enforcement, justice agencies, or federal, state, county, and municipal government organizations.
  • Proven ability to generate new pipeline and develop accounts through direct prospecting.
  • Successful history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience managing complex and lengthy government sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of public-sector budgeting, procurement, contracting, and competitive solicitation processes.
