Public Safety Officer In Charge- 16 Hours
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all duties of Officer-in-Charge
- Maintains current work schedules to ensure minimum staffing levels
- Makes recommendations for utilization of department budget to maximize efficiency
- Coordinates all shift activities and operations
- Inspects and approves all incident reports for content and form
- Coordinates duty assignments, and provides support for delegated functions
- Reports exceptional performance of duties by officers
- Fosters commitment to professional advancement
Organizational Responsibilities
- Follows hospital and department policies with special attention to safety, dress, attendance and punctuality, and display of ID badge
- Subscribes to hospital’s mission statement, code of ethics, and standards of conduct
- Handles all work-related information in a confidential manner
- Understands and agrees to uphold the Hospital Compliance Plan
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $24.00 - $29.26
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
