Public Relations Manager
About the role
We are looking for a Public Relations Manager to elevate the global narrative of SoundHound AI’s brand, products, leadership team, and workplace culture across traditional and digital media. Working directly with the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing high-impact communications campaigns targeting enterprise customers, prospects, investors, and industry influencers. This role offers a diverse corporate communications portfolio, including strategy and messaging, press announcements, executive thought leadership, awards, and major product milestones. You will help tell the story of our cutting-edge technology, including our proprietary OASYS platform, an Orchestrated Agent System redefining how enterprise businesses interact with customers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with relevant teams to translate complex technologies into compelling, accessible stories for mainstream business and tech media.
- Proactively pitch product innovations, customer wins, and corporate milestones.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists and reporters.
- Oversee core public relations operations and documentation—including media lists, trackers, speakership and award submissions, press monitoring, and executive briefing materials.
- Write and edit sharp, long-form content such as press releases, contributed articles, op-eds, executive quotes, and public-facing commentary.
- Partner with customers and corporate partners to build powerful success stories and case studies for media distribution.
- Utilize modern PR analytics and listening tools to measure media coverage, track sentiment, and deliver actionable insights.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of public relations experience, with a proven track record in the B2B tech, SaaS, or AI space.
- A BA/BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business, or Marketing is preferred.
- An established network of relationships with business and technology media outlets.
- An innate instinct for uncovering unique, media-worthy angles and a passion for storytelling across multiple formats.
- Experience with industry-standard PR measurement, media database, and tracking tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Notified, TVEyes, etc).
- Exceptional organization, self-direction, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly.

Pay
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 plus equity. A specific salary range will be provided based on location and years of experience.
