Public Relations Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Public Relations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will help shape external communications that support major people and leadership initiatives in a highly visible technology environment. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders to build media strategies, elevate executive presence, and manage communications around sensitive and high-impact topics. The position also calls for strong judgment, cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate complex organizational moments into clear, compelling narratives. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $129,100 – $163,800 annually Responsibilities Drive high-impact media engagement around AI workforce transformation and leadership initiatives. Advise key People executives on securing high-profile external platforms and opportunities. Proactively pitch and secure feature stories across various media outlets, including podcasts. Counsel stakeholders on sensitive topics and coordinate effective communication strategies. Manage external PR agency partners to ensure alignment with internal strategies. Track and communicate PR results to stakeholders, focusing on impact and outcomes. Optimize PR operations using generative AI tools and automated workflows. Qualifications 7+ years in public relations, corporate communications, or related fields. Strong relationships with top-tier media in business, technology, HR, or policy sectors. Experience developing and executing communications strategies for specific business areas. Proven crisis and issue management skills under tight deadlines. Experience leading cross-functional campaigns and managing project timelines. Ability to navigate ambiguity while balancing global and regional communication goals.
