Job Overview The Public Relations & Communications Coordinator provides day-to-day support for communications and media initiatives. This entry-level role assists with content production, media monitoring, project coordination, and administrative tasks to help ensure the smooth execution of campaigns. Working under the direction of senior team members, the Coordinator supports efforts to strengthen the brand, increase visibility, and maintain consistent messaging across external channels. Job Status: Full-time, Salaried Shift: Days. Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Hybrid (on-site and remote). Occasional weekend on-call schedule Duties & Responsibilities Assists in drafting and editing PR and external communications materials. Coordinates logistics for media interviews, events, and press opportunities. Assists with administrative tasks, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and file management. Monitors news coverage, maintains media lists, and tracks campaign performance. Supports the day-to-day management of project timelines, assets, and approvals. Collaborates with team members to ensure brand consistency in all public-facing content. Scope and Level Guidelines: Trains in the field and assists higher level personnel to acquire learning through practical experience. Complexity: Performs routine and/or basic tasks common to the field. Procedures, methods, and techniques to be used are well established with options to be considered well defined. Tools, work aids, and materials to be used are specified. Decision Making: Duties assigned are primarily routine, repetitive, and restricted in intricacy with little or no discretion in how they are carried out. Communications: Contacts with team members, clients or the public where factual information relative to the organization or its functions are received, relayed, or a service rendered according to established procedures or instructions. Supervision Received: Under close supervision, the employee receives training to develop skills and abilities in a specific line of work or general occupational area. Work product is subject to close, continuous inspection. Minimum Qualifications Degrees Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field Equivalency Four (4) years of experience, beyond stated requirements, may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree Please include both a resume and cover letter highlighting your experience with your application Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $63,317.59 to $94,976.38 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
